
MEET ANNA TAYLOR WILLIAMS
ABOUT ME
A Dedicated Music Teacher and Performer
Anna Taylor Williams is a recent graduate of Samford University with a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance. She has been studying violin for twelve years and viola for seven years. Her teachers have included Barbara Poularikas, Amelia Weesner, Jeff Dortch, Noriko Mitchell, Ashley Poppe, and Angela Flaniken. While a student at Samford, Anna performed in various chamber ensembles for both student and faculty recitals, was a member of the Samford Orchestra, and currently plays in the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra. As a concerto competition winner, Anna had the opportunity to perform Ernest Bloch's Suite Hebraique as a soloist with Samford Orchestra in 2017. Anna has attended Sewanee Summer Music Festival for two summers and has worked as a string intern for Tennessee Valley Music Festival for three summers. Anna has taught in several music programs throughout the Birmingham area over the past three years and also runs a small private studio.
